PLAY JUNIOR RUGBY
The Hornby Rugby Football Club is committed to offering junior members of all ages a positive rugby experience. Supported by our skilled coaches who are dedicated and motivated to support and develop the skills of our junior players. We are a family oriented club offering many social opportunities throughout the season, including the Annual inter-club Ashburton Celtic vs Hornby RFC tournament. We encourage players and supporters to attend club rooms for weekly prize-giving, to recognise the day’s achievements and celebrate with team Player of the Days. Club rooms open at 4:00pm with Prize giving at 4:30pm. Bar and kitchen will be open for purchases. In this Section you will find the Junior Handbook. This is designed to provide all the information needed, to help you and your child experience an enjoyable and exciting rugby season. In this section you will also find Important Season dates. Registrations
Register online today for the Hornby RFC 2018 season. OR Come down to the clubrooms and register: SATURDAY 27th January 2018 10:00am to 2:00pm SATURDAY 10th February 2018 10:00am - 2:00pm TUESDAY 13th February 2018 5:30pm to 7:00pm Sign Up: Once online registration has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email and will be contacted soon after by your Team Manager *Birth certificates are required for new members. *Your child will be weighed at training to ensure they are placed into the correct team. *Your Team Manager will provide season information and discuss Subscription costs - Refer Junior Rugby Tab Give Rugby A Go: For new/younger players, please contact our Junior Club Captain to arrange a time. 2017 Weight Chart
The weights for teams from Under 6 to Under 15 have now been decided by the Junior & Teenage Advisory Committee’s for the 2017 season. Information regarding the official weigh in week(s) will be advised in due course. |
