Most of you know me in my current role as Bar Manager, where I have been since 2007.
Before then I held the role of Secretary for the club from 2004.
I have been involved with  Hornby RFC since 1976 supporting my now brother in law Neville Wilson(sword).
My daughter Jess has played rugby at the club since she was 7 years old starting out in Juniors then onto play for the Women's team,
My husband George played for the club from a young age and after a break came back to play in Senior grades for about 20yrs.
I love being involved in such a great family Club

Lyn Hucklebridge - Chairperson
Lyn has been a member since 1984 when her 2 sons joined the Club. Over the years she has held various rolls in the Club beginning with the then Junior Committee progressing through to the Senior Management Team. Lyn was Secretary from 1999 – 2004, 2013 – 2015 and currently holds the Chairperson role since 2017.
Lyn’s son Marty played through the grades playing Ellsemere Rep and Canterbury Rep teams going on to play at North Harbour & Northland Rep sides plus overseas at Kubota in Japan, Wasps in London and Old Blue Club in New York where he finished his playing and became Head Coach of the Old Blue Club. He has been Assistant Coach at USA team and West Point Army and now has a role in the Sunvolves team in Tokyo.
Lyn has always been interested in the well-being and Administration of Hornby Rugby and returned to the Management Team in 2013 to help regain a Division 1 team for the Club back in the Ellesmere Competition. This was successful and now with the help of Marty helping the Coaches just wants to give back to the Club that gave Marty a career in Rugby.
Lyn was actively involved with the ‘Save Denton Group’ that fought for the saving of Denton Park from becoming a concrete jungle for the South West Leisure Centre. The win for the Park to remain as it is came in 2018 ensuring the Hornby Rugby Club and Hornby Cricket Club retain their positions at Denton Park

Kevin Dorgan - Club Patron

Kevin joined Hornby Rugby Football Club in 1975.  Along with Doug Frampton, Kevin coached U9-U14. Kevin served 5 years on the JAB  for the Canterbury Rugby Football Union.  Kevin has also served 5 years on the clubs committee.  During his time in the club Kevin refereed the touch 7's modules for 14 years and was responsible for arranging referees.  Amazingly, Kevin has also refereed rugby for 40+ years.  Kevin is a long standing member of the "Friday Night Club" (39 years) and takes pride of place at "the table."  It is for all of the above reasons that Kevin has been appointed as our Club Patron and Life Member of the HRFC. In 2015 Kevin was made a life member of the club in recognition of his outstanding contribution to our club and the community.

Glen White - Club Treasurer
